1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing our website, booking or using our transportation services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, all applicable laws and regulations, and agree that you are responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing our services.
These Terms and Conditions apply to all customers, passengers, and users of Geneva Cab Express services. By booking or using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
2. Services Description
Geneva Cab Express provides premium taxi and transportation services in Geneva and surrounding areas, including but not limited to:
- Airport transfers to and from Geneva Airport
- City transportation
- Business and corporate travel services
- City tours and sightseeing transportation
- Event transportation services
- Long-distance transportation to nearby cities
Services are provided by licensed professional drivers using our fleet of vehicles. All of our drivers possess the necessary qualifications, licenses, and permits required by local regulations to provide transportation services.
3. Booking and Cancellation
3.1 Booking
Bookings can be made through our website, by phone, email, or via our mobile application. All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by Geneva Cab Express.
When making a booking, you must provide accurate and complete information, including contact details, pickup location, destination, date, time, number of passengers, and any special requirements.
3.2 Booking Confirmation
After submitting a booking request, you will receive a confirmation via email or SMS. Your booking is not confirmed until you receive this confirmation. The confirmation will include details of your booking, including the fare estimate, pickup location, destination, date, and time.
3.3 Cancellation Policy
Our cancellation policy is as follows:
- Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time: Full refund
- Cancellations made between 12-24 hours before the scheduled pickup time: 50% refund
- Cancellations made less than 12 hours before the scheduled pickup time: No refund
- No-shows: Full charge applies
For airport pickups: If your flight is delayed, we will adjust your pickup time accordingly at no additional charge. We monitor flight arrivals in real-time.
3.4 Modifications
Modifications to bookings can be made subject to availability. Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to modify your booking. Modifications made less than 12 hours before the scheduled pickup time may be subject to additional charges.
4. Payment Terms
4.1 Fares and Rates
Fares are calculated based on the distance, time of day, type of vehicle, and any additional services requested. All fares are in Swiss Francs (CHF).
For pre-booked services, fare estimates are provided at the time of booking. The final fare may vary based on actual route taken, waiting time, tolls, parking fees, or other additional charges.
4.2 Payment Methods
We accept the following payment methods:
- Cash (Swiss Francs)
- Credit/Debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
- Mobile payment applications
- Corporate account billing (for approved accounts)
4.3 Additional Charges
Additional charges may apply for:
- Waiting time beyond the first 15 minutes (charged at CHF 10 per 15 minutes)
- Additional stops not specified in the original booking
- Toll roads and parking fees
- Late night services (between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM)
- Holiday surcharges
- Special requests or additional services
4.4 Receipts and Invoices
Receipts are provided upon request for all completed rides. For corporate accounts, detailed invoices will be provided according to the agreed billing cycle.
5. Liability and Insurance
5.1 Insurance Coverage
All Geneva Cab Express vehicles are fully insured in accordance with Swiss law. Our insurance covers passengers and their belongings during transportation.
5.2 Limitation of Liability
While we take all reasonable care to ensure the safety and security of passengers and their belongings, Geneva Cab Express's liability is limited to the following:
- For personal injury: As stipulated by Swiss law
- For loss or damage to luggage or personal belongings: Up to CHF 1,000 per passenger
We are not liable for:
- Indirect or consequential losses
- Losses arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control
- Losses arising from passenger negligence or non-compliance with these Terms and Conditions
- Missed flights or connections due to circumstances beyond our control (such as exceptional traffic conditions, severe weather, etc.)
5.3 Claims
Any claims for loss, damage, or injury must be reported to Geneva Cab Express within 24 hours of the incident. Claims should be submitted in writing, including all relevant details of the incident, to the contact information provided in Section 10.
6. Passenger Conduct
Passengers are expected to behave in a reasonable and respectful manner at all times. Geneva Cab Express reserves the right to refuse service or terminate a journey if a passenger:
- Is abusive, threatening, or disruptive to the driver or other passengers
- Is intoxicated to the point of being a nuisance or danger
- Smokes, vapes, or consumes illegal substances in the vehicle
- Damages or soils the vehicle
- Requests the driver to break traffic laws or speed limits
- Places the driver or other passengers at risk
Passengers are responsible for any damage they cause to the vehicle. Cleaning fees of CHF 100-300 may be charged for excessive soiling of the vehicle.
All passengers must wear seatbelts in accordance with Swiss law. Child safety seats must be used as required by law. We can provide child safety seats upon request at an additional charge.
